Honesty and Trusting
First
impressions often are the single thing people will remember about others. However, as people get to know each other
better, events throughout their friendship are remembered, not first
impressions. I would like to be
remembered as being an honest and trusting person to my fellow peers.
Without
honesty, the world would be complete chaos.
Everyone would lie about everything, causing stress and disorder to the people
of the world. Fortunately many people
tell the truth and are honest about themselves and their actions, just like
myself. I hate not telling the truth and
I am proud of myself when I do tell the truth in tight situations.
Just like
being honest, I am a very trustworthy person.
This can be proven very easily just by looking at the different
activities I participate in; Key Club and The Point Online. As Treasurer of Key Club, I must keep track
of the clubs money and making sure all the ends meet. I am trusted to count and sort the money for
the club and to keep a budget; all of which I proudly do. By not sharing this information to the
student body and keeping it confidential the Key Club Advisors gain trust in
me. As Head Editor on The Point Online,
a Cedar Point fan site, I am also entrusted with being honest, trusting, and
responsible. Currently, the site is
working on a new layout and I have been told not to show this new look to
anyone. I have kept to my promise and
when the site re-launches, it will have a fresh look for everyone. If I was not a trusting person, I believe I
would not have had the opportunities to
Honesty and
trustworthiness are two main aspects needed in order to be a strong leader and
friend in the world. I try to be honest
and trusting in everything I do as I feel not being honest is morally wrong. Honesty and trustworthiness are two important
characteristics that everyone should have.
